Every word has a meaning, chosen carefully with great thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parts :<\/strong> Can be divided in to five major parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Part 1<\/mark><\/strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0e00ff\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> :<\/mark> Source of the Preamble :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA,<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Part 2<\/strong> : <\/mark>Nature of the Indian State :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SOVEREIGN <\/strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">SOCIALIST SECULAR<\/mark><strong> DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC<\/strong>&nbsp;and to secure to all its citizens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Part 3<\/strong> :<\/mark> Four main objects :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JUSTICE<\/strong>, social, economic and political;<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LIBERTY<\/strong>&nbsp;of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EQUALITY<\/strong>&nbsp;of status and of opportunity; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and to promote among them all&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FRATERNITY<\/strong>&nbsp;assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> Integrity <\/mark><\/strong>of the Nation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Part 4<\/strong> :<\/mark> Date of Adoption<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY<\/strong>&nbsp;this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Part 5<\/strong> :<\/mark> Acceptance :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>do&nbsp;<strong>HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Three words, <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Socialist, Secular &amp; Integrity<\/mark> added after the <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>42<sup>nd<\/sup> Amendment 1976. (Indira Gandhi Government).<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key words in the Preamble<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">We, the people of India:<\/mark><\/strong>&nbsp;It indicates the&nbsp;<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">ultimate sovereignty of the people of India.<\/mark><\/strong>&nbsp;Sovereignty means the independent authority of the State, not being subject to the control of any other State or external power.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Sovereign (\u0938\u093e\u0930\u094d\u0935\u092d\u094c\u092e) :<\/mark><\/strong>&nbsp;The term means that India has its own independent authority and it is not a dominion of any other external power. In the country, the legislature has the power to make laws which are subject to certain limitations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Socialist (\u0938\u092e\u093e\u091c\u0935\u093e\u0926\u0940) :<\/mark><\/strong>&nbsp;The term means the&nbsp;<strong>achievement of socialist ends through democratic<\/strong>&nbsp;means. It holds faith in a mixed economy where both private and public sectors co-exist side by side.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Secular (\u0927\u0930\u094d\u092e\u0928\u093f\u0930\u092a\u0947\u0915\u094d\u0937) :<\/mark><\/strong>&nbsp;The term means that all the religions in India get equal respect, protection and support from the state.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Democratic (\u0932\u094b\u0915\u0936\u093e\u0939\u0940) :<\/strong>\u00a0<\/mark>The term implies that the Constitution of India has an established form of Constitution which gets its authority from the will of the people expressed in an election.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Democracy = Demos (people) + Kratos (authority). (Greek words)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; means Government by people\u2026 Government gets authority from&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; the will of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Republic (\u0917\u0923\u0930\u093e\u091c\u094d\u092f<\/mark>) :<\/strong>&nbsp;The term indicates that the head of the state is elected by the people (not like hereditary monarch). In India, the President of India is the elected head of the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectives of the Indian Constitution<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Constitution is the supreme law and it helps to&nbsp;<strong>maintain integrity (<\/strong><strong>\u0905\u0916\u0902\u0921\u0924\u093e<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><strong> in the society<\/strong>&nbsp;and to&nbsp;<strong>promote unity among the citizens<\/strong>&nbsp;to build a great nation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main objective of the Indian Constitution is to&nbsp;<strong>promote harmony (<\/strong><strong>\u0938\u093e\u092e\u0902\u091c\u0938\u094d\u092f<\/strong><strong> \/<\/strong><strong> \u0938\u0941\u0938\u0902\u0935\u093e\u0926<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><strong> throughout the nation.<\/strong><br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The factors which help in achieving this objective are:<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Justice:<\/strong>&nbsp;It is necessary to maintain order in society that is promised through various provisions of&nbsp;<strong>Fundamental Rights<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Directive Principles of State Policy<\/strong>&nbsp;provided by the Constitution of India. It comprises three elements, which is&nbsp;<strong>social, economic, and political.<\/strong><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Social Justice (\u0938\u093e\u092e\u093e\u091c\u093f\u0915 \u0928\u094d\u092f\u093e\u092f<\/mark>) \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Social justice means that the Constitution wants to create a society without discrimination on any grounds like caste, creed, gender, religion, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Economic Justice (\u0906\u0930\u094d\u0925\u093f\u0915 \u0928\u094d\u092f\u093e\u092f)<\/mark> \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Economic Justice means no discrimination can be caused by people on the basis of their wealth, income, and economic status. Every person must be paid equally for an equal position and all people must get opportunities to earn for their living.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Political Justice (\u0930\u093e\u091c\u0928\u0940\u0924\u093f\u0915 \u0928\u094d\u092f\u093e\u092f) \u2013<\/mark><\/strong>\u00a0Political Justice means all the people have an equal, free and fair right without any discrimination to participate in political opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Equality (\u0938\u092e\u093e\u0928\u0924\u093e<\/mark>) :<\/strong>&nbsp;The term \u2018Equality\u2019 means no section of society has any special privileges and all the people have given equal opportunities for everything without any discriminations. Everyone is equal before the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Liberty (\u0938\u094d\u0935\u0924\u0902\u0924\u094d\u0930\u0924\u093e<\/mark>) :<\/strong>&nbsp;The term \u2018Liberty\u2019 means freedom for the people to choose their way of life, have political views and behavior in society. Liberty does not mean freedom to do anything, a person can do anything but in the limit set by the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Fraternity (\u092c\u0902\u0927\u0941\u0924\u094d\u0935<\/mark>) :<\/strong>&nbsp;The term \u2018Fraternity\u2019 means a feeling of brotherhood and an emotional attachment with the country and all the people. Fraternity helps to promote dignity and unity in the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Dignity (\u0917\u094c\u0930\u0935 \/ \u092a\u094d\u0930\u0924\u093f\u0937\u094d\u0920\u093e) :<\/strong> <\/mark>Dignity of individual : Right to life does not mean only animal existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether Preamble is a part of The Constitution :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Kesavanand Bharti v. State of Kerala (1973) :<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was held by SC that, preamble is a part of The Constitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since it is a part of The Constitution, it can be amended but, basic feature cannot be amended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026\u202642<sup>nd<\/sup> amendment inserted three words.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Preface or Introduction Need : Introduction of what is written inside The Constitution.
