If either of these provision exist, there is no partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>K. Thiagarajah v. Muthappa<\/em> : There is no partnership at will where there is in the contract of partnership an express or implied provision as to its duration or its determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Suresh Kumar Sanghi v. Amrit Kumar Sanghi<\/em> : The essence of partnership at will is that it is open to either partner to dissolve the partnership by giving notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Gulab Singh v. Guttulal<\/em> : if a partnership which was originally for a fixed term is continued after the expiry of the term would be regarded as a partnership at will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Particular_partnership_Section_8\"><\/span><strong>Particular partnership<\/strong> (Section 8)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>This definition of \u201cpartnership at will\u201d is used in other sections, in particular section The expression \u201cpartnership at will\u201d has always been used in the law of partnership and has always had the same meaning that stated in this section 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A person may become a partner with another person in particular adventures or undertakings<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This section was inserted to meet cases which are probably much more frequent in India. As stated in <em>Suganmal v.
